Mass marketing promotes one product to everyone using the same message and channels. It follows the philosophy of 'one product for everybody' without market segmentation.

Coca-Cola, Colgate toothpaste, and Tide detergent are mass marketing examples — they target virtually everyone regardless of demographics.

Advantages include large market reach, economies of scale, and simple messaging. However, increasingly diverse consumer preferences are making pure mass marketing less effective. Most companies now combine mass marketing with targeted approaches for different segments.
